Grace Venverloh
Grace Venverloh is a Cadet in the Class of 2027 at the United States Air Force Academy. Grace graduated from Rowland Hall high school in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she competed among the top ranks of female alpine ski racers in the USA for the Rowmark ski team.
Grace was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and prior to Salt Lake City also spent time living near Lake Tahoe and in Zürich, Switzerland. Cadet at the United States Air Force Academy. Competitive alpine ski racer and water polo player. Strength and fitness enthusiast. High school academics: 4.1 GPA, 1570 / 99th percentile SAT, 3.97 Swiss Langgymnasium-Prüfung. Trumpet and alpenhorn player. Fluent in German, conversational in French and Swiss German. Grew up in Northern California and Switzerland. Graduated from Rowland Hall high school in Salt Lake City, Utah. Grace also played water polo competitively at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton, California, and now coaches water polo in Salt Lake City. Occasionally Grace gets to explore her artistic side. While in Switzerland, she learned to play the Alpenhorn, a 4-meter long woodwind instrument traditionally used in the Alps, and played an Alpenhorn in a concert at Zürich’s Volkshaus concert hall. More recently, she plays trumpet in jazz and symphony ensembles. In early 2022, Grace won the Rowland Hall Art Contest for a visual art piece. At Sacred Heart Preparatory, Grace served as editor of the literary magazine.
